    A vibrant place to learn…

Learning can be fun! We never lose sight of the fact that we aren’t just
teaching today’s lesson, but teaching students to be life-long learners.

Instructors, leaders and mentors

Our teaching staff are highly qualified, dedicated and caring professionals. They are passionate about working with children and create welcoming classrooms for them.

We believe with the combination of an outstanding curriculum with a teaching cul-ture of mutual respect, collaboration, and cooperation, students gain confidence and self-discipline in learning.

It’s no wonder our students look up to their teachers as more than instructors, but models and mentors.

All students are considered for admission regardless of religious affiliation, race, or ethnic origin. All students must conform to our school's Christian doctrines. Children for Christ Academy is a non-denominational, independent Christian institution.

Teachers

A Beka

Toddler through 6th grade students are taught using the acclaimed A Beka Curriculum, a full academic program designed from a Christian perspective. Using its outstanding illustrated textbooks and teaching aids, hands-on activities, challenging exercises, purposeful repetition, and the reinforcement of concepts from subject to subject, teachers help make learning interesting and memorable.

Testing

The Iowa Test of Basic Skill (ITBS) is administered to K5 through 6th grade students in March of each year. Schools throughout the U.S. employ the ITBS tests in primary grades to gain information about classes and students for instructional planning, to supplement teacher observations regarding student abilities, and to establish a basis for subsequent annual evaluation of student progress.
